Story Number EIGHTEEN – The X-RATED Diet

 I literally spend 8 hours per day researching and retrieving new information for different projects
that I work on to develop new and exciting concepts that inspire me and propel other people forward.

One of my most exciting projects has been

THE X-RATED DIET
Better Sex - Less Weight - More money

The project was developed from a single chapter in Napoleon Hill's book " Think and Grow Rich."

Chapter eleven ( 11 ) is entitled
THE MYSTERY OF SEX TRANSMUTATION

The meaning of transmutation according to Hill is " the changing, or transferring of one element,
or form of energy, into another."

After reading this chapter, over and over, I decided to test this theory and find out what works
and what doesn't. I decided to transfer the urge of sex into something other than mere satisfaction.

Let me explain what this means to me. I was somehow going to create the urge of sex and instead of
using it to satisfy my sexual urge I was going to rechannel it into some other form of energy
to accomplish an independent goal.

My choice of an independent goal was to lose weight.

My first experiment was based on creating the urge of sex. Sounds funny, doesn't it. Create the urge
of sex is one of the easiest thing to do. Magazines, videos, books, pictures, the Internet, Victoria's Secrets commercials, 
there are many ways to create the urge.

Once you create the urge, your mind is on satisfaction, not on rechanneling it into some other form of energy.
My first exposure to creating the urge was in my garage, where I had a desk, a T.V. and video player.
( I had a wife and three children, so I had to do this in the garage, since my wife knew what I was proposing ) 

I actually put on an x-rated video and as soon as it started - there was the urge.

Now, let's stop and think. By putting on the video, the sexual urge was produced.
What I actually needed to do was to rechannel this urge before it took over my thinking.

Many experiments later, here's what I discovered.
Turn on the x-rated video and immediately start to exercise.
I did jumping jacks, standing in front of the T.V.

Here's what happens. By exercising and watching the x-rated video, my heart says to my brain
" Hey, I'm getting sexual stimulation, yet, I'm also getting unrelated muscle activity... 
Where am I supposed to pump the blood? "

And the brain responds by saying " Well, we need to pump the blood to the neediest area, so
pump the blood to the active muscles and bypass the sexual organs."

FIRST DISCOVERY: When you exercise in front of an x-rated video the heart will pump the
blood to the active muscles, and bypass the sexual organs.

What does this mean?

It means that we have now produced the sexual urge and rechanneled it into the direction of exercise,
which, of course, is a crucial element to losing weight. So, as long as I exercised in front of the x-rated
video I am performing an activity that didn't allow for sexual satisfaction, yet it eventually accounted
for weight loss, which was the independent goal.

I want to quote one more item from Napoleon Hill's book, what he calls

THE TEN STIMULI OF THE MIND

" The human mind responds to stimuli, through which it may be ' keyed up ' to high rates of vibration,
known as enthusiasm, creative imagination, intense desire, etc. The stimuli to which the mind responds most freely are:

THE DESIRE FOR SEX EXPRESSION

Love

A burning desire for fame, power, or financial gain, money

Music

Friendship between either those of the same sex, or those of the opposite sex

A Master Mind alliance based upon the harmony of two or more people who ally themselves
for spiritual or temporal advancement

Mutual suffering, such as that experienced by people who are persecuted

Autosuggestion

Fear

Narcotics and alcohol "

Notice that the very first stimuli is the desire for sex expression. Because of it's position it is stronger
than any of the other nine stimuli listed.

To make sure that this discovery worked I did it three times. 

1st time - Started out at 266lbs and went down to less than 200lbs.
( exercising in front of an x-rated video in my garage )

2nd time - Regained the weight ( 267lbs ) and went down to less than 200lbs.
( again, exercising in front of an x-rated video in my garage )

When I regained the weight and attempted to complete the third time, I was disappointed.
For some reason, I was unable to reduce my weight with this method. I'm still not sure why?

I researched and researched and was unable to find the answer. Maybe it was boredom with
the x-rated videos. Maybe I became immune to the videos. I'm not sure.

One of my companies was Santa Barbara Limousine and we had many runs to LAX
( Los Angeles International Airport ) and one day I had a run to LAX with a nice family
who simply wanted to go to LAX to meet with family that were arriving at LAX and then within
one or two hours later, they were departing from LAX.

My job was to get them to LAX - drop them at the appropriate terminal and then return within
two hours to pick them back up and return to Santa Barbara California to take them home.

Well, here I was in Los Angeles with no where to go. I had passed a place on Century Boulevard
called " Nude Nudes " and decided to go there for the short period of time I had before I had to
return to the airport.

As I sat in the audience I realized that this may just be the way for me to get back on track for losing
the weight a third and final time. After seeing the second dancer ( totally nude ) I was inspired. Here was
an opportunity to experiment with a real live human being to create the enthusiasm for this final weight loss. 

The story gets pretty involved here, yet, here is the short version.

Her name was " Angie " and in my eyes she was gorgeous. We talked and decided to sign a mutual agreement
on June 27, 1991 which was scheduled to start July 4, 1991 after we took progressive pictures of her, on
that date, from totally clothed to totally nude ( 12 photo's in all ).

The agreed upon amount of weight loss was between 67 and 82lbs which meant that I would weight
between 184 and 199 ( a fifteen pound cushion ) and this had to happen in 8 weeks, starting July 4, 1991.

My starting weight was again, 266lbs.

I selected 8 pictures that I liked and I was to return to see her once each week to pickup the next picture
which got progressively sexier, and watch her dance. At the end of her dance for that week I was to tip her
$25.00 by laying my money down on the stage for everyone to see.
( she asked me to do it this way to possibly increase her tips from other guys sitting at the bar )

Here's the key. NO SEX. Under no circumstances were we to participate in any form of contact
since by performing the sexual act - the sexual urge would not be at its peak. I needed the carrot on
the stick to keep me inspired to perform the weight loss.

The carrot on the stick was the fact that she agreed to grant me any favor 
( including sexual favors ) I wanted when I completed the mutual agreement by losing the 
specific amount of weight in the specified amount of time.

( there was a provision in the mutual agreement that said " ANGIE also understands
that at the end of the specified time or before, as stated in paragraph #7, she has the right,
even when the goal is reached, to refuse to participate in any requests for 
favors, unless she wants to participate." )

By using the weekly photo I was able to resist all attempts to get myself to eat more and
it actually inspired me to " fantasize " in my mind what favors I would ask for...

Because of my enthusiasm I did too much exercise and created a small problem with
my left leg and had to rest for about a week and a half. I talked to Angie and we agreed to
extend the time from 8 weeks to 11 weeks.

Let me just say that Napoleon Hill was absolutely right. The amount of inspiration that was derived
from Angie's cooperation and participation and the ability to fantasize the outcome
was extraordinary and unbelievably powerful.

Eleven weeks later I weighed 196lbs.
I lost 70 pounds, 13 inches off my waist and kept it off for over 4 years.

And, you might ask, what kind of favors did I ask of Angie?.

As a gentleman and because I promised her I wouldn't tell anyone, you'll just have to use your imagination!
